My name is Kyla Kethcart, and I am a certified GAPS Coach located in Central/North East Ohio.
I am on a mission to inspire people just like you to reconnect with the health-giving benefits of eating real, properly prepared food. Though we enjoy many conveniences in our modern world, there is too often a cost that we pay with our health. We are seeing rising chronic health conditions that greatly impact the quality of life for ourselves and our children. When you don't feel good, it is really hard to live life in the full expression of who God made you to be!
As a mother, I have experienced this firsthand, as I navigated feeding my family through the challenges of FPIES, multiple food allergies, eczema, behavioral challenges, food aversions, and severe constipation. Life was SO hard! I found Gut and Psychology Syndrome™ by Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride in 2013, and learned that much of our overall health is directly impacted by the health of our digestive system. The information presented in the GAPS Nutritional Protocol provided a hopeful path forward.
GAPS teaches how important it is to: support healthy digestion and elimination, clean up the home environment from toxins, and trade processed food products for REAL, nutrient-dense food. Using the GAPS Nutritional Protocol as a guide, I committed to these necessary lifestyle changes, and watched in amazement as our chronic health conditions fell away one by one. Health and hope was restored in my family, and I knew I needed to share what I had learned with others. This is what inspired me to become a Certified GAPS Coach.
I offer one-on-one guidance customized to you and your family's needs: from helping you choose where to begin with GAPS (for example: GAPS Intro, Full GAPS, No Plant GAPS, GAPS for Nursing Mothers & weaning infants) and to ensure your success in implementing the GAPS Nutritional Protocol that is most appropriate for you. The valuable skills you will learn on the GAPS protocol will benefit you and your future generations for a lifetime!
My own personal experience of utilizing the GAPS Nutritional Protocol to successfully reverse chronic health conditions in myself and my family inspired me to become a Certified GAPS Coach. My desire is to provide hope, encouragement, and guidance to help others understand and implement the GAPS diet with success.
The Well-Stocked Kitchen: learn time-honored kitchen skills at your own pace through this virtual workshop. In-person and Group sessions can also be scheduled.
These workshops are for those who simply want to know how to make delicious, nutrient-dense foods using real ingredients, as well as learn some of the foundational skills to prepare you for GAPS.
